USG stands for University Student Gymnastic. USG are an old sports club founded in 1918, and today USG have about 6.000 members doing al sorts of sports indoor as well as outdoor. USG’s principal aim is to give students in Copenhagen an opportunity of participating in all different kinds of sports at both an exercise level as well as at a more ambitious, tournament level.

In USG people have a chance to do water activities, ballgames, outdoor activities, dance/exercise, marshall art and many other activities. Foreign students are very welcome to sign up for sports activities in USG just like any other Danish student living in the Copenhagen area.

Within USG we have a team, USG Syncro, training and performing Syncronized Swimming. The Team is called ”Havfruerne” in Danish, which means The Mermaids.
